Communication Arts: Students are required to have a book to read at all times. They can bring a book from home or check one out from the library or our classroom.
- Reading Logs will be sent home every Monday. Students are required to read 20 minutes per day, five days per week. Reading logs must be filled out completely and signed by a parent/guardian. Completed reading logs must be turned in each Monday.
- The literature extension for this quarter is due October 1st.
- Literacy Focus: Sequencing
- Writing: Student of the week letter, review drafting a story, daily sentence editing
- Word Study (spelling): A letter will be coming home on Monday to explain the new spelling curriculum. Student's will have twelve words to study for their test on Friday.
- Review study guide
- Practice multiplication through games
- Unit 1 test on Thursday
- We will begin our plant unit this week.
- Introduction to the Landform project that will be done in class.
- Complete Geography Unit.
- Tentative test on Friday, October 5.
