April is a very busy month with field trips and testing. Please check our classes' online calendar to be aware of all the dates and times for testing. Also, make sure your student is getting plenty of rest and eating a good breakfast for all of these events.

Communication Arts: Students are required to have a book to read at all times. They can bring a book from home, check one out in the library, or in our classroom.
- Reading Logs: For the next two weeks reading logs will be sent home with only those students who need to make up a log. Students are required to read a total of 100 minutes per week. Reading logs must be filled out completely and signed by a parent/guardian. Completed reading logs must be turned in the following Monday.
- Literacy Focus: Complete the book Around the World in 80 Days.
- Writing Focus: Student of the week letter. Proof reading practice with capitalization, punctuation, and parts of speech.
- LAD Fair on Saturday, April 27 at Willard High School.
- No spelling test this week due to MAP testing
