Arts: Students are required to have a book to read at all times.
They can bring a book from home, check one out in the library, or in our
classroom.
- Reading Logs: Reading logs will be sent home every Monday. Students are required to read a total of 100 minutes per week. Reading logs must be filled out completely and signed by a parent/guardian. Completed reading logs must be turned in the following Monday.
- Literacy Focus: Character Traits and Setting
- Writing Focus: Research on famous Americans, Letter
- Literature Extension: The due date is January 31.
- Reminder: Students are to complete four Mark Twain Nominees before the end of January. Students are reminded weekly and this information was in the syllabus that you were given at the beginning of the year. This will be included in their third quarter grades.
Math:
- Students will be learning about division and different division algorithms.
- Division Webquest
- Homework: Various Worksheets
- Students will be learning about vertebrates: Mammals
- Creating a Vertebrate project.
- French and Indian War and the events leading up to the war.
- Career Visits: If you signed up to share your career with our students please check your email for the day and time you are to come and share.
